AESTHETIC MEDICINE
Movement · Balance · StructureAt Lau-vei Haus, every journey begins with listening. Your consultation is time dedicated entirely to understanding you.
Together, we’ll discuss your lifestyle, previous treatments, medical history, facial anatomy and long-term goals before completing a comprehensive assessment.
Where appropriate, we’ll develop a personalised treatment plan that may consider facial movement, structural support, skin quality, collagen support and regenerative approaches - looking at these together rather than in isolation.
You’ll be guided through appropriate treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, alternatives, recovery considerations and costs, giving you the information and time to make an informed decision about your care.
There is no obligation to proceed with treatment, and all recommendations are subject to clinical assessment and confirmation of suitability.

AESTHETIC MEDICINE CONSULTATION
FINE LINES, WRINKLES & FACIAL MOVEMENT
Where movement meets balance.
Facial movement is an important part of expression. Over time, repeated movement can contribute to lines becoming more noticeable, including across the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes.
Your consultation considers how your face moves as a whole, looking at your individual movement patterns, facial anatomy. Understanding how different areas of the face work together, both at rest and in movement.
Rather than focusing on a single line or area in isolation, we take the time to understand what you are noticing and what may be contributing to it. Where appropriate, your practitioner will discuss suitable treatment options, alternatives, expected outcomes, potential risks and costs before any decision is made.
WHO IT MAY SUIT
Expression lines becoming more visible
Lines across the forehead, between the brows or around the eyes
A downward pull or change in the position of the corners of the mouth
Prominent neck or platysmal bands, particularly during movement
Changes in the way the lower face or neck moves with expression
Jaw tension, teeth clenching or grinding

EXCESSIVE SWEATING | HYPERHIDROSIS
When sweating becomes more than a response to heat.
Sweating is a normal and important function of the body. For some people, however, sweating can occur more frequently or excessively than expected and may begin to affect comfort, clothing choices, confidence or everyday activities.
Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, commonly affects areas such as the underarms, palms, feet or other localised areas of the body.
Your consultation begins by understanding your symptoms, how long they have been present, the areas affected and how they are impacting your day-to-day life. Your medical history, medications and other relevant factors will also be considered to help determine whether further assessment may be required.
WHO IT MAY SUIT
A consultation may be appropriate if you:
Experience sweating that feels excessive or disproportionate to temperature or activity
Regularly experience visible perspiration through clothing
Find sweating affects clothing choices, work, social situations or everyday activities
Experience persistent sweating in a particular area, such as the underarms
Have tried antiperspirants or other measures without adequate improvement
Would like to better understand why you may be experiencing excessive sweating and the options available to you
-
Your appointment begins with a consultation and clinical assessment.
We will discuss the areas affected, your symptoms, medical history and how excessive sweating is affecting your day-to-day life.

Expected outcomes, potential risks, alternatives and associated costs will be discussed before you decide whether to proceed.
-
Arrive with clean skin in the area being assessed where possible.
Please advise your practitioner of any medications, supplements or recent changes to your health.
Let us know if you have any active infection, irritation, broken skin or rash affecting the treatment area.

FACIAL BALANCE, VOLUME & STRUCTURAL SUPPORT
A considered approach to support, proportion and balance.
Changes in facial volume and structural support are a natural part of ageing and can influence the contours, proportions and overall balance of the face.
Your consultation considers the face as a whole. Looking at facial structure, volume distribution, proportion, movement and skin quality, rather than focusing on one feature or area in isolation.
Where clinically appropriate, treatment options may be considered to support areas affected by volume or structural change and restore balance between facial features, while respecting your natural anatomy and individuality.
WHO IT MAY SUIT
Changes in facial volume or fullness over time
Reduced support through areas of the face
Changes in facial contours or proportions
Changes through the cheeks, chin, jawline or temples
Changes in the transition between different areas of the face
Features that feel less balanced than they once did
Age-related changes you would like to better understand
Facial balance isn't about pursuing perfect symmetry. Natural faces are individual, expressive and inherently asymmetric. It is about understanding where change has occurred, how different areas of the face relate to one another, and whether anything needs to be addressed at all.

COLLAGEN BIOSTIMULATION &
REGENERATIVE SUPPORT
A regenerative approach to supporting the skin and tissues over time.
Collagen plays an important role in the strength, firmness and structural support of the skin and facial tissues. As collagen naturally changes with age, changes in skin density, elasticity, contour and tissue support may become more noticeable.
Rather than focusing simply on adding volume, collagen biostimulation works with the body’s own biological processes to encourage collagen production and support tissue quality and structure over time.
Treatment may take a full-face approach, considering broader changes in facial support and contour, or a targeted eye-area approach, where skin quality, tissue density, hollowing and support are considered together.
FULL FACE
A full-face approach may be considered for changes in skin firmness, tissue density, facial support and contour. Depending on the treatment selected, some initial support may be visible, followed by progressive changes as the collagen response develops over time.
EYE AREA
Under-eye hollowing is not always a volume concern alone. Changes in collagen, skin quality, tissue density and surrounding facial support can all contribute.
A bio-regenerative approach aims to work with your body’s own repair systems. Encouraging a regenerative response within the tissues rather than simply adding volume. Over time, this may support collagen production, tissue quality and structural support in areas where age-related hollowing has become more visible.
A CONSIDERED APPROACH
Your consultation determines whether a full-face, eye-area or combination approach may be appropriate for you.
-
Support the gradual production of collagen and elastin within the skin
Support skin quality, density and structural support over time
Support for improved firmness, elasticity and resilience
Refine skin texture & tone
Subtle support in areas experiencing changes in volume and tissue quality
Improve facial tissue support where appropriate
Progressive support for the skin

REJURAN® BIO-REGENERATIVE EYE TREATMENT
Rather than adding volume or changing facial structure, treatment focuses on the delicate skin surrounding the eyes and may be considered where changes in texture, elasticity, hydration, fine lines and overall skin quality are a priority.
HOW IT WORKS
Rejuran is formulated with highly purified polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA. At Lau-vei Haus, it is used specifically around the eye area, working with the skin’s natural regenerative processes to support skin quality, resilience and overall condition over time.
When introduced into the delicate skin around the eyes, polynucleotides are intended to support the skin environment and processes involved in tissue repair and collagen production.
Think skin quality, not added volume.
WHO IT MAY SUIT
Rejuran may be considered for the eye area where there is:
Fine or crepey skin
Fine lines
Reduced elasticity
Delicate or thinning skin
Changes in skin texture
Reduced skin quality and resilience
Progressive changes associated with skin ageing
THE LAU-VEI HAUS APPROACH
At Lau-vei Haus, Rejuran is used specifically as a skin-quality treatment for the eye area. It is generally approached as a course of treatments, allowing the skin to be supported progressively over time rather than relying on a single appointment.
-
Small raised bumps at the injection sites are expected immediately following treatment and generally begin to settle over the following days.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, sensitivity or bruising may occur.
The eye area may be more prone to temporary puffiness or swelling. This typically resolves within 24-72 hours.
Allow adequate recovery time before important events.
Changes in skin quality develop progressively rather than immediately.
Individual responses and recovery times vary.
-
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours.
Where medically appropriate, avoid non-essential medications or supplements that may increase bruising. Do not stop prescribed medication without speaking with your prescribing healthcare professional.
Allow at least two weeks between treatment and an important event.
Please advise us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please advise us of any known fish or seafood allergies.
Treatment may need to be postponed if you have an active infection, cold sore or significant irritation affecting the treatment area.
Please advise us of recent or upcoming dental work, vaccinations, medical procedures or changes to your medications or health.
